20 for ’21 – Tulsa Race Massacre Exhibit

20 for ’21 exhibit graphic (2021)

“20 for ’21” was a photo series started in 2018 by Tulsa artist & historian Patrick McNicholas.

This powerful artwork initially took 20 historic photographs captured during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, and composited it with present-day Tulsa photographs of the Greenwood area. Today, there are over 40 total composites. (Most of which can be seen on Bloomberg Connects App).

The exhibit was on display in the historic Greenwood District exactly 100 years after the Massacre.
